Hi there! My name is JarieLyn, and I am the creator of this blog, From Zero to Wealth. I just want to say hello and welcome you to my site. My excitement that you’re here with me to learn how to create passive income and to learn how to save money while you’re running your business, is immeasurable. Next, I’d like to share a story about how I got to this point in my life.
My Path To Entrepreneurship
My first real business was a partnership with my sister in the 1990s. We both worked in a dental lab making dentures and we decided to go out on our own. The name we chose for our company was New Chew Dental Lab, which we thought was clever. Fortunately, we attained quite a few accounts and we had lots of fun operating our own business.
Several years later, my husband and I moved to Las Vegas and I got a job working for a private investigator, which is something I always wanted to do. I learned a lot in the four years I worked for this company. The owner died and the business was sold, so I researched what I needed to do to start my own P.I. Business. It was a long process but I got my license and for 7 years, I was very successful. I loved my job. But then, the recession of 2008 hit and I lost my largest client which was around $10,000 – $13,000 a month in revenue. A year later, I decided to close my business due to burn out.
Over the next four years I dabbled in photography. You guessed it. I started a photography business doing weddings and Quinceaneras. After my 2nd Quinceanera, I decided I liked photography more as a hobby than a business. So I quit.
Then, I went to real estate school. It was very interesting, and as always, I learned a lot. But in the end, I didn’t do anything. Real Estate was not what I wanted to do.
Now, I currently own and operate a holistic healing center and metaphysical gift shop. My rent is not cheap. But I love what I do. Meeting new people and helping them along their spiritual journey is rewarding. I enjoy talking about crystals and all the stuff that some of you may consider woo woo. I’ve owned my shop for nearly five years now and I have four other practitioners who work with me. My shop has a great team of people and we are all supportive of one another.
Another thing I enjoy is my ETSY shop where I started out selling vintage postcards and papers. I’ve now expanded it to include some metaphysical things and hand crafted goods. I absolutely love ETSY.
In between all of my businesses and my breaks, I’ve tried lots of different MLM companies. None of which I was successful at, but they all taught me something.
I’m always brainstorming ideas to make money, and for years, I”ve wanted to try affiliate marketing. Now, I am and this is the beginning of my journey.

I want to help people who are serial entrepreneurs like me because I know how hard it can be to make it. One thing I’m good at is encouraging others to reach their full potential, and to share my knowledge and experiences to help them do better than me.
The Goal Of This Website
My purpose for this website is to help entrepreneurs save money while they’re running a business as well as teach them how to earn passive income through affiliate marketing and other methods. This is the beginning of my affiliate marketing journey so we will be learning together. I’ll do all the research for the good, the bad, and the ugly and pass along the information to you.
